How did Bitrex get started?
We were created in Edinburgh by pharmaceutical company Macfarlan Smith. And, like many great inventions, Bitrex was discovered by accident as scientists worked on a new local anaesthetic! We quickly discovered the importance of the amazing chemical we had created, a patent was registered, and the brand Bitrex was born!
